I really wanted these to fit. I should have paid more attention to the strap at the top instep.I have a high instep and had these been leather all the way across the top they probably would have been fine to wait and see if they would stretch.However, the top band is a non-stretch material so there is no give.I thought they were beautiful. The color was light but rich.I had really really wanted to keep them but knew they'd never fit comfortablly.If you do not have a high instep, get them!
