Another great product from Wolverine. I like that they're not waterproof which makes them cooler when warm. For being an 8" inch tall lace boot, they lace very quickly. Laces do come undone after a few hours so you need to double knot them. Seems like a coating on the laces to make them easier to thread or tie. I'm 50 and my son is 17 - he thinks they look appealing enough to wear for himself. He generally overlooks my boots but remarked on these. The little leather piece at rear/top of boot that is used for ease of putting on - it gets your pant leg caught only once per day. You don't have to go back and fiddle with it hourly each day.While not being waterproof, they very water resistant when walking in tall wet pasture grass or one inch deep mud. No wet feet! I'm sure something more intense like all-day rain would cause a leak.
